Ludmila Brown - car accident
Donation protected
Our dear friend and co-worker, Ludmila Brown, was in a car accident on February 2, 2018. She and her daughter were returning home from a trip to Richmond, Indiana when they were rear-ended by another driver. The driver of the other vehicle did not have insurance and was driving under the influence. He was transported to the Preble County jail. Ludmila came to work for a couple days but has been out due to her head injury. She is planning to return to work in April.
Ludmila’s car was totaled and she had to purchase a different vehicle. This required her to take out a loan to cover the purchase. Ludmila is 80 – yes 80. She gets up at 2 am Monday-Friday to work at Miami University, McGuffey Hall. She is our wonderful co-worker that keeps McGuffey Hall third floor clean.
We all appreciate all her hard work and want to help her out in covering the expense of purchasing a car. She had been planning to retire in the near future. Hopefully, we can all chip in and help toward reducing the amount she owes on her car.
