El 20 de Mayo de 2023, Lucia quedó atrapada en el fuego cruzado de un tiroteo en su complejo de apartamentos en Garner. Mientras preparaba el desayuno para sus hijos. Fue llevada de urgencia al hospital con heridas de bala y estaba luchando por su vida. Lucía ya no podrá volver a su vida normal debido a que ya no podrá caminar. Lucía es una madre trabajadora de 3 hijos. Trabajaba muchas horas para mantener a sus hijos y nunca antes había pedido ayuda. Pero ahora, ella necesita nuestra ayuda más que nunca. Las facturas médicas se acumulan y no puede trabajar mientras se recupera. Su familia está luchando para llegar a fin de mes y están desesperados por cualquier ayuda que puedan obtener. Estamos pidiendo su apoyo y oraciones para ayudar a Lucía y su familia en este momento difícil. As family of Lucia Godinez Martinez, a victim of gun violence who is in dire need of our help. On May 20, 2023, Lucia was caught in the crossfire of a shooting in her apartment complex on Garner. Whiling making breakfast for her children. She was rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds and was fighting for her life. Lucia will no longer be able to return to her normal life reasons being that she will no longer be able to walk. Lucia is a hardworking mother of 3 children. She worked long hours to provide for her children and has never asked for help before. But now, she needs our help more than ever. The medical bills are piling up, and she is unable to work while she is recovering. Her family is struggling to make ends meet, and they are desperate for any assistance they can get.
