Seguimos en esta lucha, y nuestra mamá sigue luchando (por ahi nos dicen "es un Roble").

En la resonancia realizada el 11 de Octubre del 2023 encuentran al menos 3 sarcomas junto a la vena cava y columna vertebral. La recomendacion del doctor es no operar en ese momento por la delicada ubicacion de las lesiones. La recomendacion es Quimioterapia para eliminarlos.

Su primera sesion de quimioterapia fue el día 23 de Noviembre y la segunda sesion el 20 de Diciembre. 

El día 31 de Diciembre presenta fiebre, molestia en la boca del estómago y vómitos, ni siquiera el agua la toleraba su cuerpo. El 2 de Enero es ingresada a emergencia y rapidamente hospitalizada, pues luego de una tomografia de emergencia descubren que hay una obstrucción intestinal absoluta a nivel del duodeno. Los tumores que estan en esa zona (retroperitoneal) han crecido considerablente muy rápido y eso ha obstruido el duodeno.

Le colocaron una sonda nasogastrica y debe ser operada urgentemente para relizar una derivación del estómago al intestino delgado para desobtruirla y que pueda alimentarse. 

En cuanto a los tumores, son inciertos los próximos pasos a seguir. Los doctores deben enfocarse en esta operación para poder solucionar esta emergencia y luego se discutiran los pasos a seguir.

 We continue in this fight, and our mother continues fighting (someone told us "she is an Oak").

 In the MRI performed on October 11, 2023, they found at least 3 sarcomas next to the vena cava and the spine. The doctor's recommendation was not to operate due to the delicate location of the tumours. The recommendation was Chemotherapy to eliminate them.

 The first chemotherapy session was on November 23rd and the second session on December 20th.

 On December 31, she had fever, discomfort in the pit of her stomach and frequent vomiting. Her body could not even take water. On January 2, she was taken to ER and right after an emergency CT scan doctors discovered that there was an absolute intestinal obstruction in the duodenum. The tumors that are in that area (retroperitoneal) have grown very very quick and they have obstructed the duodenum.

She have a nasogastric tube placed and must undergo urgent surgery to perform a bypass from the stomach to the small intestine to unclog it so she can be fed.

 Regarding the tumors, the next steps to follow are uncertain. Doctors must be focused on this surgery in order to solve this emergency and then the steps to follow will be discussed.
