Celebrating the Life of Lucas Tu

On Easter Day, April 21st, 2019, Lucas Aiden Tu passed away in his sleep. Our boy had a dream, and decided to keep on dreaming. It has been a very traumatic and painful tragedy that we are all going through. Lucas was very healthy and full of life and happiness. But that day, God decided to bring his angel back to heaven. Although we lost our son, God gained an angel.
Autopsy results came back with no signs of internal or external injuries or trauma. The cause of death is still unknown. We just hope to believe that our baby boy went away as peaceful as can be and didn’t suffer nor was in pain.
Lucas. You will always be my sweet angel. We watched over you these past 5 years, now you are watching over mommy and daddy. Thank you for saving us and choosing us to be your parents. We will always honor you and make you proud. You never had a single bad bone in your body, never wanted to break the rules or even kill an ant. You were the most perfect child that any parent can ask for and we never deserved you. You never needed us baby, it was us that needed you.
Rest easy my love, for when the time comes we will be there right beside you. We will be together one day, I promise. But for now, continue to protect us and we promise we will always keep you in our hearts. You will forever be our Lucas. We will forever be your mommy and daddy. Thank you for these years that you brought us. It was truly a fairytale. Keep dreaming baby boy.
To honor Lucas, we have decided that any donations that are raised in our GoFundMe will be donated to the UW Children Hospital in Madison, the hospital Lucas was in. We know in our hearts that Lucas would have wanted us to help others. Lucas’s grandparents, Bruce and Coris Crass will match the final donation amount up to $15k. We are truly blessed to be able to have the chance to help any families in the future.
