Lucas McKinney memorial

Hi I’m Phillip Carpenter, a fellow racer and most importantly a friend of Lucas McKinney. Lucas lost his life in an on track accident on March 19th, doing what he loved at Farmington Dragway in North Carolina.

On behalf of all of our racing friends we have decided to do this to assist with funeral expenses for his family and to show how much the racing community cares about this young man who was taken from us way too soon.

Lucas was an avid fisherman, drag racer, and slot car racer. I’ve personally known him for years and he had a heart of gold. His family would never ask for assistance as they’re always the giving type. We just thought we could do something nice and show how much their son was loved throughout the racing world.
