My amazing husband Lucas Scarabino was diagnosed at 37 years old, with AML leukemia on July 21, 2017.  A life threatening blood cancer disease. This of course has changed our life completely! He has been at the James Cancer center in Columbus Ohio since diagnosis.

Lucas is a caring and loving Husband, Friend, and Brother to three sisters. He would do anything in the world for anyone. Lucas will stop on the side of the road when he sees someone's broke down, he will try and fix it or if they have a flat tire he will change it. He will drop everything to help out his family and friends when they need it. Lucas even bought a young girl in the hospital a pair of headphones so she can listen to music while she was walking through the halls going through her Chemo. He always says I need to pay it forward to whom ever I can. This is why I call him my hero!

Lucas has already been taking the chemo medicine  which will kill the  leukemia, because of a mutation of  the disease he will also require a bone marrow transplant to be able to beat this. His bone marrow will still make cells that will give him leukemia over and over until the transplant. This procedure is very costly 500,000 on top of all the doctor's appointments and medications he will have to take after he's in remission.

All three of his sister's flew in and have been swabbed to find a match for his marrow, each sister has a 1 in 4 chance of being a match, they also have a database of donors they can try to match to.

We are not the type of people to ask for help, we are the type of people that try to help out anyone we can.  So no matter how much you donate a dollar, a hundred dollars any bit helps.  Please share this on your facebook page with all your friends, the more people who see this the closer the goal becomes.
