Lucas Cawthorn Memorial Fund

They say it takes a village to raise a child, so it is only fitting that we call upon our village to help lift up the Cawthorn family during such an unimaginable time of loss. My name is Kelly Glassburn and I'm a family friend to Mara, Cy, Sophia and Ian.  My oldest child played Club Soccer with Lucas for many years and they were close friends.  

 

Lucas was pure sunshine and light and so loved by his friends and family. He was an avid soccer player at Florida Rush, a recent West Orange High School graduate, and a budding entrepreneur. His smile was infectious and was offered freely to anyone---friends, family, strangers, or competitors in the game that he loved so much.

 

The loss of a child is unimaginable, and we hope that we can provide Mara, Cy, Sophia and Ian with a level of comfort through an outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. All donations will go directly to Mara to offset expenses from this tragedy and ensure that the family can focus only on celebrating a life well-lived by this amazing young man.
