On August 27, 2017, my brother, Doug, and his wife, Linda, lost everything to Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent catastrophic flooding. The loss of their home, all of its contents, and their vehicle has been devastating.
After having to be rescued from their home and staying in a shelter, FEMA has now put them up in a hotel for next 30 days, where they will go after that is unknown.
They need immediate financial assistance for personal care items, food, clothing, cell phone bill, transportation costs, medications & prescriptions, and other medical costs due to health issues.
They also need funding for probable relocation, a vehicle, housing, furniture and other household items.
Your monetary donation will help ease some of the stress as they begin their journey of rebuilding their lives.
While I live in Wisconsin, my brother and his wife are in Texas dealing with the aftermath on their own. If we all pull together and give them a hand, they would not have to go through this alone.
