Donations are being raised to assist with the licensing and permitting of the Lower Valley SPCA.
The Lower Valley SPCA will be an open to the public No Kill adoption and rescue shelter in the Lower Yakima Valley. The shelter will service cities in the Lower Valley which currently have to rely on private rescues and or shelters sometimes 40minutes away. This significantly reduces the owners chances of locating their animals. We also intend to offer low cost vaccination, microchipping, and emergency medical services which are all but non existent in the Lower Valley.
Currently this GoFundMe is intended to help cover the costs of the fees to license our organization. We estimate the costs to be between $800-1,200 depending upon state requirements. This will not be tax deductible as we require our state licensing to acquire our IRS 501c. Once we obtain our licensing and our NonProfit status we will be doing further efforts to generate additional funding for construction of a shelter.
Any additional donations will be used to start the shelter design and construction.
