Seaholm Alumni (1982) and former Sylvan Lake resident. Lisa Brownlee suffers from Aspergers Syndrome, a form of Autism that makes it difficult to interact with people and limits the types of jobs she can perform. Currently she is a substitute food service worker with several school districts. Her work is very physically demanding and this fall she has some additional challenges to face. Lisa recently suffered a significant knee injury in addition to the arthritis she has been suffering from for many years. This is setting up a downward spiral. The therapy is an additional expense that is difficult to cover on her wages and she has had to cut her hours as well. She is at a point where she barely can afford gas to get to work. If this situation continues, she could lose her job making life even more difficult. We hate to see her suffer like this and we have set up this fund to help her through this emergency and give her some security for the future. Lisa will continue to work she just wants some security if she gets hurt or her hours get cut. Please consider making a donation.
