Last year of 2018 one of the most caring, humble, hardworking and family oriented man I know was diagnosed with Cancer.
I've been blessed to know Eric or (Erito) as many of his close family members and friends may know him since we first partook as rivals in a series of fierce soccer games. Once the blood, sweat and tears were wiped away, we became bonded with a strong lasting friendship of 17 years rather than showing spite for one and another. Eric has been nothing short of being a great human being for his amazing wife, his three beautiful son's, family, friends and co-workers alike. I'm vouching as many others will for an EXTRAORDINARY man that has been dealt with a momentary set back.
Eric was first admitted to the hospital towards the end of last year as a result of feeling really ill and not being able to keep food within his system due to prolonged vomiting as well as head pain. It was then when dear loved one's and close companions received the gut wrenching news of him having cancer. As he was kept in the ER for the proximity of two weeks to monitor his recuperation, all seemed well for the vast amount of visitors that attended to his comfort. Upon his release there were SOME positive signs of improvement as many others and I touched basis with him. For one reason or another, this was short lived as we came to find out that chemotherapy had been added along with the medications. As chemotherapy is being finalized, specialists along with fellow loved ones are exhausting possibilities to come up with other if not BETTER options in facilitating this dilemma.
As with any other major DISEASE this has taken a toll not only physically, mentally, spiritually but also economically since he has been out of work as his wife is now the only one receiving income. I create this page whole heatedly with the grace of God not only for monetary purposes but with the intent of enabling a dear Friend, Dad, Husband, Brother and Son to his normal routines of Life. Whether it be soccer practice for his son's, family events, date night with his wife, church on Sundays or hanging out with his colleagues. We ALL keep faith that God is and will be his Protector.
