Lestrade's Total Hip Replacement

Lestrade is an adorable, energetic, spaztic German Shepherd/Malamute puppy. I recently found out she has hip dysplasia and will need a total hip replacement in order to live a normal dog life. Without the surgery she will be in pain, limp, and won't be able to play fetch, jump, run, or do anything normal dogs can do. She will pretty much be a 65-pound cat.
This dog is my world. She was adopted from my sister's dogs' litter of puppies and won my heart immediately. The day I went to chose a pup, Lestrade walked up to me, stumbling over her huge paws, sniffed my leg, and promptly collapsed, belly up asking for pets. I knew she was my dog.

She has only intigrated herself into my life more as each day passes. She wakes me up in the mornings, and waits for me to nap with her in the afternoons. She wiggles when she's excited and whines when she doesn't get her way. Her "Arooing" entertains everyone because no one has seen a more emotive dog.
Lestrade loves all people, animals, and things. There hasn't been an experience yet that she didn't greet with her normal wiggles and whines. My hopes for Lestrade are to get her the surgery she needs and live a long, healthy life with her, but I need help.
I am only a grad student with a part-time job. I can't afford this type of surgery on my own, so I'm humbly asking for help. Please, if you can, donate. If not, share Lestrade's page with your friends in case they can help pay for Lestrade's hip replacement.

Lestrade is a 7 month old German Shepherd/Malamute puppy. Recently she was diagnosed with Canine Hip Dysplasia and is already showing signs of pain. According to the veterinarian and the surgeon Lestrade needs to have a total hip replacement.
What is Canine Hip Dysplasia?
Canine Hip Dysplasia is when the socket of the hip is improperly formed. In Lestrade's case, her right leg is misalinged causing painful irritation, limping, and lameness.
Does Lestrade really need surgery?
Yes, without surgery Lestrade will be in pain when she sits, moves around, and gets up and down. She will not be able to regular puppy things like run, jump, play fetch, hike or wrestle with other dogs.
When does Lestrade need to have surgery?
The surgeon is unable to perform Lestrade's surgery until her growth plates have fused. This fusion will happen sometime between 1 year and 3 months and 1 year and 6 months. I have around a year to raise the money for Lestrade's surgery.
