Love 2 Victor
At the end of June, Victor was flown from Bairnsdale hospital to Monash Medical Centre for emergency intervention due to swelling in his brain. He was found to have a lesion that required 13 hours of surgery to remove and is now in Monash Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. To date, Victors mum Conni Greenwood, Vic's grandparents Rob and Leah have been unable to return home to Marlo due to Victor’s condition, where he is relearning to move his limbs, talk, eat and communicate. It is unknown how long they will remain at Monash Medical Centre whilst Victor hopefully regains full sensation, movement and the ability to communicate again which is expected to take extensive physio and time.
Conni and her family are Marlo locals and active community members who are much loved and respected around the area. This experience has been heartbreaking for anyone who knows the Greenwood family and all our well wishes are for Victors full recovery.
Thanks for your love and consideration in donating to assist the Greenwood family to keep things running back home and offering support during this challenging time.
