Love for Lika

By now I’m sure that most of you have heard that our sweet friend Lika was diagnosed recently with breast cancer.
Though the prognosis is good, she has a rough road ahead of her.
After having surgery to remove the tumor, they’ve decided to go back in to take some more out. So, this week they’ll be performing another surgery.
Honestly, Lika is one of the kindest, most loving, hardest working people I know.
She always has a smile on her face and is keeping a posititive attitude through it all. I feel so lucky to have a friend like her. She does so much for others, and now it’s time for all of us, her community, to be there for her.
The last thing that she needs right now is stress. She has quite a high medical deductible that she will need to pay. If we could raise that money for her, it would be one less thing for her to worry about.
Her focus should be on healing, and taking care of herself, not if she’s going to be able to pay her medical bills.
She will start radiation after her second surgery, and will need to take time off of work.
No amount is too small, every dollar is appreciated. Lika deserves to be lifted up right now. Let’s show her her how much we love her, and help her in this journey.
