On Monday, January 1 2018, the members of Hope CRC in Brantford were informed that Deb Zylstra was very sick in a hospital in Ohio after she collapsed while she with her husband Josh and 4 children had gone to visit over their Christmas break.
Deb was airlifted today to a hospital in Columbus Ohio where she is in critical condition in ICU. She has severe pneumonia and influenza. Her body and her heart are under severe stress. Josh was also in the hospital but was released today. The children are on their way home with their grandmother and family friends who went to pick them up. Their 4 children (ages 9 months - 6 years) are also not well.
Many of their family and friends are looking for ways to help. Josh and Deb do have travel and medical coverage
but it was suggested a Go Fund Me page to help ease the stress of the unexpected financial burden of accomodations and travel costs, etc.
At this time, please bring this family before the throne of grace, that our Saviour would bring healing to this busy young mother and that they could all be reunited in good health. Please pray for Josh and all the family during this difficult time as Josh is off of work due to a concussion he received several weeks ago. Please pray for the children during this time of seperation as they are not well themselves. Please pray for the medical staff that are caring for Deb and that her body would respond to the treatments. Please pray for travelling mercies for the children and those who have travelled so many miles to bring them back to Canada. Please also pray for the immediate Zylstra family who is also suffering from this virus. As this is a very difficult time for Josh, Sarah Statema (Josh's sister) is helping with this campaign.
