Love Come Down and Rescue The Williams' Family

Donation protected
Joseph Williams was a man of many titles; a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, and a friend. A fighter, a survivor, and a proud provider of love and strength for his family. Today we ask that you carry on his purpose for Amber, his devoted wife and best friend and for his children, who he loved unconditionally and whole-heartedly.  That cliché saying, "your life can change in a split second," has never rang more true.

The last 3 weeks have been unimaginable for this family. On May 2nd while at home with Tyler, Joseph suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. Tyler, only 9 years old, bravely called 911 for his father and Joseph was taken to a local hospital. Thankfully, the doctors acted quickly and Joseph was transferred to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Medical Center via life flight. Immediately after his arrival, the amazing doctors performed an angiogram, a process to stop the bleeding.  The procedure was a success.  The following day, impressing the doctors, Joseph proved he was fighter; he opened his eyes and was even able to move a little.  On May 7th,  after overcoming many obstacles, the swelling of Joseph’s brain reduced and his vitals were stable.  He continued to fight as he battled pneumonia and underwent a tracheostomy. On May 17th he was freed from all tubes, wires, drains and was even able to hold up his head and respond to commands. Unfortunately on Saturday May 18th, Joseph took a step backwards when his brain started having spasms again. On Sunday, after his 4th angiogram, he suffered 2 devastating strokes causing additional bleeding and severe damage to his brain. On May 23, 2019, love came down and rescued Joseph from this suffering. He leaves behind a legacy of love and acceptance that his family will carry on for generations to come.

Through this difficult time, Joseph had been surrounded by his family; Amber hasn’t left his side. Many of you have asked Summer and I how you can help or what you can do to be helpful? You’ve asked how Amber and the kids will move forward and what their needs might be? Let’s provide wings to this family by way of our generosity so they can feel a sense of lightness and less worry in the future that they must learn to make sense of.  They do not have any life insurance policy and Amber has been off of for several weeks spending every last moment with Joseph. I know they’d be extremely grateful for the love, support, and any means of outreach.

If you are unable to donate, please lift up The Williams Family in love, support or time. May we all remember to hug Amber, tell Marc Anthony what Joseph was like at his age, shake Cason's hand, bear hug Kaylee or throw a football with Tyler. Donations will help to support The Williams Family during this time that words are too shallow to express.

Thank You!
