Love and hope for Ivanna

Ivanna vino a Sydney desde Chile con WH visa. Todo iba muy bien en su vida, pero hace unos días tuvo un terrible accidente en bicicleta.
 
Su rodilla terminó pulverizada, requiriendo una cirugía que incluye 2 placas y 20 tornillos, con el fin de recuperar la movilidad. Además de otras complicaciones que tendrá a lo largo de su vida por la reconstrucción de su rodilla. Los médicos indicaron que es una lesión sumamente grave (en 20 años requiere otra cirugía reconstructiva y sufrirá de artritis).
 
Ella solicitó a los médicos viajar a Chile para operarse, pero ellos dijeron: "si viajas en estas condiciones, muy posiblemente NO volverás a caminar"
 
Por tanto, los costos aquí son $2450 por cada día de hospitalización, además la rehabilitación (indispensable para caminar de nuevo) $155 por sesión. Esto hasta ahora es más de $36,000. 
 
Ivanna se encuentra sola aquí en Australia y no puede viajar a su país para estar con su familia. Esta Navidad será particularmente distinta para ella, por lo que sí pueden apoyarnos en esta campaña de fondos será maravilloso. Ivanna travelled from Chile to Sydney with a WH visa. Her life was running pretty well. However, on December 1, the unthinkable occurred. She had a terrible accident riding a bicycle.

Her left knee was coming on pieces, it required major surgery with 2 plates and more than 20 screws to recovery her mobility. Also, it implies other difficult issues throughout the rest of her life including more surgeries and crippling arthritis.

She asked the surgeons to return to Chile, and get the surgery there. They said: “if you travel under these conditions, you won’t probably walk again”

Therefore, the hospitalization and surgery in Sydney are AUD 2,450 PER DAY, plus the rehabilitation therapy for $155 per session. It means AUD 36,000 so far.

Ivanna is alone here in Australia, and she is not able to return to her country to get the support of her family. This Christmas will be particularly tough for her. So, if you can give any support for this fundraising, it will be lovely. Please, any help is worthy, for Ivanna 1 dollar means a lot. She must be strong and brave to get well, and besides, she will be facing a debt of more than $36,000 without being allowed to work during the next 4-6 months.
