Love and Care for King: Your Help Needed

Hi everyone,

Meet King — a 6-year-old Miniature Schnauzer I recently rescued from a neglectful situation. When I found him, he was infested with fleas, had painfully long nails, red and flaky skin, and was scratching himself raw. His gums are in poor condition, his left eye has cyst, and his gums are inflamed and require dental care, and his skin is discolored and inflamed — signs of long-term neglect and discomfort.

Despite it all, King is incredibly sweet, gentle, and trusting. He’s full of love — he just hasn’t had anyone to give it to until now. I’m committed to helping him heal, and I’m also dedicated to finding him a new family who will love and care for him the way he deserves.

King urgently needs:

• Flea treatment

• Cyst removal on his eye

• A full veterinary exam and bloodwork

• Medications for his skin and allergies

• Nail trimming and proper grooming

• Dental evaluation and likely treatment

• Neutering surgery

• Vaccines and other recommended medical care

I’ve already had him groomed and started him on Apoquel to help relieve the itching and plan to begin flea treatment immediately, but the rest of his care is more than I can afford on my own.
