Love 2 Lisa

In mid-February 2018, Lisa Kollar, a young mother of 2,  suffered a life threatening stroke at only 28 years old!  Unbeknownst to her and her family, this is a rare hereditary condition, Arterial Venous Malformation, paralyzed her right side affecting her speech and memory.    She spent a week on a ventilator and had surgery to stop the bleeding in her brain.

She's getting better but the road ahead is going to be long.  She requires help to move and she still struggles with speaking.  Lisa was between jobs when this occurred and because of that, did not have healthcare insurance.  She has already accumulated a lot of medical costs with more to come.  

We, co-workers and friends of her father, John Kollar,  at Leidos are starting this GoFundMe as a way to help the family and especially give Lisa some piece of mind about how to pay for things while she recuperates. 

Many of us have children and grandchildren and wanted to help in any way we can.   The best help we know right now is to donate towards paying medical bills and Lisa's care.
