Leah Henig needs cancer surgery

It is with a tremendous sense of desperation and urgency that we turn to you, our beloved community in a time of great need. Leah was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2012, doctors advised that without chemotherapy she would have nine months to live and although terribly scared, Leah had faith that she could overcome the disease with a holistic approach and prayers to HaShem. Miraculously the tumor started to shrink. Today, seven years later, ( now 70 years old) the small tumor has started to grow aggressively, and at this point she has to undergo surgery. She is in dire need financially as she need to maintain her bills (mortgage, food, broken down car, lost wages from time off of her part time job, just to name a few). The stress of all of this is understandably detrimental to her health and well being. We beseech you to find that special kindness and sense of unity by partaking in this most important mitzvah.
