Louis Bennett fundraiser

Hello Redding,
I’ve been inundated with requests for information about the other UPS Redding driver, Louis Bennett. Lou is a very private person and would not approve of me sharing his plight on social media, but he’s in a tough spot right now and could use some help, something he would never ask for. He does not have a Facebook page nor post on any other social media sites,so hopefully he will not hear of this campaign
Lou came down with endocarditis , basically a bacterial infection around the heart He has been out of work since March 30 and is on disability . He has only just now had his PICC line removed through which he has been administering anti-biotics to himself every eight hours for the past seven weeks. He will need a more extensive and invasive procedure when strong enough and will certainly need physical therapy before he can get back to work. The disability pay nets him a whopping $360.40 a week, and I know he is struggling to make ends meet. Again, he would not approve of this plea for help, but he is the most selfless individual I have ever met and I feel the need to ask the community for some support. He’s been the other main Redding delivery driver for decades and has gone above and beyond for his customers. Please contribute whatever you feel is appropriate
Thank you for your support,
Pete Woolfe
