Louie's Emergency Brain Surgery

Donation protected

On March 10, 2014 Louie Garza was taken by ambulance to the hospital after having speech difficulty and an uncontrollable headache. At the hospital doctors discovered that Louie had an Arteriovenous Malformation Rupture (AVM). Please see this link for a detailed explanation of what an Arteriovenous Malformation is click here . Louie was then rushed in for immediate brain surgery and given a slim chance of survival. After a long surgery Louie came out stable but heavily sedated and his family members were given the news that he may never wake up again. However, as of recent Louie, still heavily sedated, has shown signs of improvement having mobility of all legs and arms and responding to the sounds of familiar voices.
Louie has medical coverage but will face many weeks of recovery causing a huge loss of income and more debt. His wife and parents have taken every day off from work to be at his bedside. Louie may even need to learn how walk and talk again before returning back to work which could mean several months of recovery. He is a loving and hard working husband who loves to crack jokes and make people smile. He loves the LORD and can regularly be found playing the piano while singing his favorite song "Praise is What I Do". He's very active in his church and plays the drums for them. Now is the time to give back and bring joy to Louie. His family asks that everyone keep him in your prayers but any donation is welcome. We love you Louie!
