LOUGHSHORE TO WARSAW : AID FOR UKRAINE

Devlin Haulage, a company in the Ardboe community, would like to ask for the help of others in raising funds to allow for the purchasing of vitally needed supplies for the people of Ukraine. The aim is to try and get two lorry loads of aid across, which will be driven from the Loughshore Area to Warsaw.

 

All funds raised through the GoFundMe page will go directly to purchasing aid in bulk with the help of local grocery suppliers throughout Northern Ireland.

 

Both Ardboe and Moortown GAA clubs are supporting Devlin Haulage and other local businesses in collecting materials for transportation to Ukraine in the next few weeks. Please keep an eye on their social media pages or get in touch with a committee member to find out the available time slots to drop off supplies.

 

If you would like to donate, the priority list is as follows:

 

* Dry food (e.g. pasta, rice, macaroni, pasta sauces, yeasts, canned food, tea, coffee, etc.)

* Baby food (with long best before date)

* Nappies, baby talc, baby cream, cotton wool, baby wipes, and incontinence pads for adults (all sizes)

* First aid, essential medical, bandages: regular and elastic

* Thermal blankets, sleeping bags, sleeping mats (with foil insulation), mattresses

* Care products: body washes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hairbrushes

* Hygiene products: towels, tampons, panty liners,

* Bedsheets, bed covers, pillows

* Disposables: plates, bowls, cutlery, cups

* Powerbanks, USB charging cables

* Battery operated flashlights, Batteries

* Headphones and earplugs

* Lighters with flashlight

*Paraffin and wax candles

* Thermoses

* Single tourist cookers

* Please NO CLOTHES except underwear (socks etc.) and NO TOYS, as they already get too many of them.
