A Little Background
I love to write. Writing flows through me whenever space for inspiration is created. This, my first book, is a labor of love, which has been in manuscript form for many years. It is also an alchemy of the fires & cool waters, confusions & breakthroughs, of the first decade of my spiritual awakening journey.
Though this story is my own personal inner journey, it carries elements and commonalities of all of us, who are waking from the dream, into a life of spiritual unfolding, of unknowns and great wonder.
Lotus, awakening from the dream (unofficial title), is a memoir about what many refer to as a Kundalini Awakening. My story is infused with revealed spiritual teachings, as well as my own process of grocking that wondrous and frightening chapter of my life, when all of reality turned upside-down, and inside-out. Where transformation disheveled all of who I thought I was, in order to rebirth me into who I was meant to be ... again and again and again, into this present day.
My Story as Service to Others ... A Book is Born
There were 2 impulses behind writing this book.
The first, as I mentioned above, was simply my way of processing and integrating myself into a life that couldn't be put into any box.
The second, which grew with a propelling force in all areas of my life, was to be of service. To help others along an inner journey, that is the spiritual awakening path, felt like a deep call, because in many ways I had traversed a decade of unknowns without assistance or guidance.
As some of you may know, this process can be daunting & expansive, mind-blowing & heart-opening, physically challenging & blissfully freeing.
I witness this continually, as a healer & spiritual guide, which is a result of my path. While every person's journey is unique, there are also similarities. Confusion & fears can run high, just as blissful breakthroughs can affirm soul's propelling force onward . There is often isolation from family & loss of friends, as there is no easy way to relate these inner transformations via clear communication to those who have not yet had these experiences.
For me, reading any personal accounts written from the experiential point of view from fellow travelers, granted me much relief and peace. Though these memoirs were few and far between, I cherished those that I read, as they were like reflections in a mirror, that brought me sanity when I felt lost.
I received hope from their stories, that one day the rewards of profound, lasting connection to Self, all of Life, Spirit/Source/God ~ however each relates to the Ineffable, would land me firmly on my feet, with a lasting peace. I wouldn't say this is exactly what I've found, but I will say, I have landed with a deep sense of that connection I'd hoped for, and it continually transforms me, opening my heart & deepening my Soul.
Intention
This book speaks of my heart & commitment to the continued awakening of myself and others. My desire is that it serve as a lighthouse in the storm and a companion of kindred understanding & joy to those walking the path of Awakening. The path of returning Home to your own True Heart.
I hope that all who read, also realize how precious they are, as well as, how much Love & support we all receive from that which we can't always see.

I am thrilled to be accepted by the highly respected, Hayhouse Publishing company's self-publishing branch of Balboa Press.
I have already purchased & paid-in-full for the package that insures this manuscript, in its infancy of love, will be taken from its raw form into a beautiful matured book.
I have passed content review processes and have all notaries filed, from individuals who appear in the book.
Balboa's professionals will be working with me to create the art, design, multiple formatting, filing of copyright, and full marketing, so that this story can reach those who will benefit from the experience shared in these pages.
I Need Your Help
As an inspired writer, I can touch hearts & souls.
What I am greatly in need of and appreciative for, is the remaining funds for the editing. The technicalities and skills required for the utmost clarity of communication for the reader, is not my forte.
As per Balboa's quote, the estimate is .046 per word, that's roughly 4 cents per word.
The word count is falling around 111, 000 words.
The manuscript length is 250 pages.
The original amount quoted for the professional editing package was $6,000.00.
However, with a special offer they presented, the total is $5,000.00
If the length and word count increase, I'm paying that difference out of pocket.
The funds contributed go directly into the book publishing account.
I'm transferring funds from the publishing account, directly to my checking account at the time of payment, and paying via my debit card.
My plan is to make one sizable payment, followed by 4 smaller monthly payments.
