Lost Job Due to Medical Reasons

I have been extremely humbled over the last year or so. Since May, I have not been able to work. I have had multiple surgeries on my back, and although the last one was successful, I can no longer meet the medical requirements at work, and I lost my job because of it. I haven't had any source of income since November 8th. I was supposed to be getting disability through MetLife disability insurance, but they are taking a lot longer to approve it than I had hoped. I am not able to file for unemployment because they do not allow it for medical situations. I can't get Workman's Comp because I cannot prove that it happened on the job. Eventually, I will be getting a small medical retirement, but the doctor at work, that would sign off on it, was fired, and they do not have a certified replacement yet.

We had our baby, Rosa, in September. We planned for her, but did not expect my medical issues. I owe a couple thousand in medical bills for her, and probably about a thousand for my own. We have been keeping up with the car payments, the house payment, and everything else until now, but we can no longer pay these bills. This week, we finally used up the last of our credit (about $50,000), and the rest of our money from the bank account.

It is very painful for me to ask, but I need help to keep my family afloat until I can sell our house (hopefully within the next month or two, according to our Realtor), and I can find a new job.
