Losing Whatever You Have in 10 Simple Minutes

When I watched my house, and everything in it was burning in flames, I could not believe it was my house. I thought these things only happened in movies, and I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I lost all that I earned, bought and loved alongside all the memories they were holding in 10 minutes. From my precious Jewelry, Books, Make up to clothes, pictures & furniture.

What could I name it? Bad Luck? Mistake? Accident? Black Magic? Curse? Or perhaps for a good reason?

I was baffled & scared. It was only at this very moment that I realised I own nothing & everything I possess is just given to me for a specific period, and eventually, I have to let it go. Even I don't own my body & one day; I have to let it go and leave. Perhaps it was an excellent lesson to learn, but it came with a high price.

We had no insurance, and no organisation offered much help. We were on our own.

Living over two months in someone else's house, suppressing my whole life in a room & not being able to continue my work caused my income to fall dramatically.

We had nothing to start a new life, especially after being in the UK for just two years and struggling to put a life together.

Had no choice but to start asking for money from people we knew. We could manage to arrange some money to be able to rent a house again when another disaster came through.

Somebody stole half of our borrowed money that we gathered with difficulty from our room while we were away. I trusted those people we were staying with, and I could never think they could do this to us, especially since they knew we had nothing and all this money was borrowed.

With all this, I always had faith God would help us & by God's grace; we managed to rent a house.

My dream is to have a space where I can keep my pets, do my cooking business and make a solid foundation for my business and life. I cannot execute my work on the full scale because I don't own a house.

This amount will enable me to buy a house of mine and let me execute my business to the fullest, which can't be done without having a place of my own.
