In one day my life changed. I was hospitalized for a blood clot in my arm several months ago and have been dealing with growing pain in my arm, shortness of breath, a compromised lymphatic system (now full blown lymphedema) and feeling tired. After relentless trips to doctors and specialists over a period of 6 months it hadn’t improved.

Then, thanks to one perceptive and thorough doctor, I found out that the pain and other symptoms were due to a recurrence of Breast Cancer.

I had of course not planned for this…I had been engaged in building a real life for myself and my son after my last round with breast cancer two years ago.

Then I received the latest diagnosis – Stage 4 HER2 positive Breast Cancer – which means the breast cancer has moved into the chest wall, lungs and neck. Compounding the issues of the blood clot and lymphedema I am now having difficulty breathing and little energy to get through my day.

Bottom line … I am reaching out to my family and friends and to YOU for help and support because I am tapped out financially!
