Our friends Lori and Lisa Tharpe-Folk have been dealing with the ups and downs of Lori's cancer for more than eight years. While Lori saw a period of remission in the last couple of years, her cancer has returned.
Compounding the problem of new, trial treatment for cancer that continues to spread, the family has to move within the next two weeks, and Lisa is recuperating from knee replacement surgery.
It is never an easy time to ask for money. It's humbling, embarrassing, and puts you in a place you never truly want to be.
This is our time as a community to help Lori and Lisa through the toughest battle they have faced so far.
It takes a strong heart to ask for help. No one should have to be worried about moving expenses, cancer treatment and surgery recovery when there is help available.
The situation is urgent. Even $1 donations add up and you can donate anonymously. Please do what you can to help this family and ease some of the stress they are feeling during this terrible time.
