Many of you know that mom was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in 2008 and fought a long hard battle. She had been in remission for several years however, November 2016 mom found a knot just below her collarbone. After scans, bloodwork and biopsy’s we were told that the Inflammatory Breast Cancer had metastasized and was now in multiple parts of her body. The Liver being the most severe at that time. Over the past year she has tried many different Chemotherapy’s and for one reason or another they have not worked and the Cancer has continued to spread. She has had to do Radiation Therapy on the specific areas of the bones where the cancer is causing much pain.  Every time she starts a new Chemo we are hopeful that it will be the one that works. This past August she spent many days in the hospital due to Chemo Toxicity. She still chose to try other Chemo’s after that experience. She is such a strong women and is not ready to give up. You may not know but all her treatments, tests, blood work and Doctors’ appointments are in Amarillo. They have to travel to Amarillo every week sometimes multiple times a week. This is very costly for them as the travel is hard on her and they have to spend the night. We ask at this time if you are unable to give just please put our family on your prayer list and say extra special prayers for her that she does not have to feel pain.
