Loretta Was Accepted to BYU Idaho
Donation protected
I am a 29 year old, Latter-day Saint who served a full-time Mission in the England Leeds. I have endeavoured to work hard and support myself financially and provide for my temporal needs from a very young age after my mother passed away. I realised that my quest to be more self-reliant can only be realised not only through hard work but also by pursuing an education. When the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints opened up the Pathway programme widely, I knew I had to take the opportunity. I prayed and received an answer that this is the path I must take, an opportunity that the Lord provided. I worked hard and met all the requirements for admission to BYU, while working and saving as much as I could. However, my earning capacity would never allow me to reach the amount needed for me to study and live at BYU Idaho. I found a sponsor who was to support my studies in full and I was also accepted to the institution.
Unfortunately my sponsor has pulled out and I only have 2-months to finalise everything so I make it on time. If I do not have this amount in my bank account to show I can sustain my dream while studying and living in the USA, my visa will not be granted.
I appeal to friends, family and supporters to donate any small amount to help me achieve my goal to cover registration, tuition, flights and add to the amount that I have for living expenses for visa approval. I know that the adversary tries all to thwart our dreams just as we are about to reach them. I prayed to know if this is the path I should take, and I have faith that the Lord through many of you will perform a mighty miracle for me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider helping me.
