Look Who's Dancing

Look Who's Dancing LLC (LWD) is a business started by 2 sisters, both nurses, with the express purpose of bringing dance and exercise to the Special Needs and Geriatric communities. These communities include those with behavioral (including those on the Autism spectrum), cognitive, physical, and aging challenges. Any and all can enjoy this program, no one is excluded, no challenge is too great! We like to point out that you simply cannot do our program wrong! Everyone is engaged to their specific level. Each class can be adapted to fit the needs of those in attendance. It is truly revolutionary! Our Geriatric program was recently the subject of a limited study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania which found statistically significant data showing that LWD decreased depressed mood, increased interest, and had a borderline decrease in anxiety in this population! How amazing! Imagine what the long term data would show! We have had great success at the local level, as our ever-increasing schedule of classes shows, but now we find ourselves at a crossroads. Our goal is to bring this extraordinary, all-inclusive program to as many people as possible. There are several ways we are looking to achieve this goal. First, by licensing our program to facilities whose clients/residents would greatly benefit from a high-energy and invigorating experience, where fitness is fun! Next, we would like to have a certification process for teachers/studios who would like to incorporate our program into their businesses. Finally, we wish to produce a DVD/Video which individuals can use at home. This is a huge undertaking, but we are up to the challenge!!! In order to see our dream realized, we will need to license our music, pay attorney fees to develop our licensing and certification contracts, as well as procuring a Utility Patent on our unique program. We will need to film, produce, manufacture and distribute our DVD/Video. There will be office, staff, and many other seen and unforeseen costs involved in our endeavor.
