Long covid treatments

Hi, I'm Jackie and I've been ill since the beginning of the covid outbreak in the UK March 2020. I had a busy, stressful job, and i started having ro cut down my hours bit by bit, as all the while I wasn't at work I was in bed trying to recover.
After about 18 months I began to be able to do a little more without needing days to recover.
Unfortunately, around that time I got another infection with covid, and my symptoms got a lot worse. By then it was obvthat there was no treatment available for long covis on the NHS, so I just struggled on like many others, trying supplements and vitamins that may have helped other sufferers.
Anyway, th3 consequence of all this is that, after a year of sick-leave, and having used up most of my savings, I had to retire (I was 66 by then). And then the next major issue - dealing with the very dysfunctional NHS pension scheme. They claim to have lost some significant information, which h is very difficult for me to reproduce in rwtrospect, especially with the "covid brainfog" and chronic fatigue.
So, i have been trying to exist on a partial State pension and no savings. I have had one consultation with a Long Covid specialist, at £250. I can't afford any of the tests or treatments she advised, and not even a follow up review. I feel I'm getting worse, and falling into debt. My famhave helped as much as they can.
I would be eternally grateful for any contributions however small.
