GO FUND ME DESCRIPTION:
I recently got accepted into the London Summer Intensive Art Residency Program with the Camden Art Center and the Slade School of Art.
I am happy and excited about this, however the program does not offer financial aid. In order to attend this program I will need to pay for program fees, a flight and housing arrangements. In order to secure my spot I would have to pay $1815 by February 26th at 5pm and then $1815 on or before April 20th.
Attending this program is important to me because it will provide me with the chance to work amongst peers from all over the world and be guided by professional artists in London.
Programs like this are crucial to my development as an artist, especially having finished school and figuring out my practice on my own. This is an amazing opportunity that I would like to partake in because I aim to apply to an MFA program next year, and a program like this will provide me with a rigorous open-minded approach to art making.
I will really appreciate any donation made possible. If you donate $50 I will send you a print of your choice of one of my digital drawings. If you donate $150 I will send you your choice of a small painting. If you donate $200+ I will send you your choice of a small painting and a print.
If you can’t donate please direct me towards any institutions that you know that fund artists and their projects so that I can apply for funding. I will gladly appreciate it!
