LOL Science Olympiad to Nationals
Donation protected
The Lyme-Old Lyme Science Olympiad recently won the 2016 Connecticut State Science Olympiad Tournament. The team has the opportunity to attend the National Tournament at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on May 20-21.
The team has been working hard to study, build and prepare for Nationals, and are very excited to participate in this exciting event!
Science Olympiad is an academic competition where students compete in 23 different events that reflect the ever-changing nature of genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology.
The goal of Science Olympiad is to create a passion and interest in science through teamwork and problem solving. They strive to promote excellence and attract more students particularly females and minorities to professional and technical careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
We are looking to raise money to help defray the costs of lodging, meals, transportation and supplies! Any donation, large or small will greatly help the Lyme-Old Lyme Science Olympiad team prepare and go to the National competition.
All donations will go directly to the team.
Lyme-Old Lyme Science Olympaid thanks you for your support!
