Lola's Big Adventure To DisneyWorld

Donation protected
In March of 2015, at the age of 2, Lola was diagnosed with Chordoma, which is a rare form of cancer that occurs in the skull and spine. Since her diagnosis, Lola has endured numerous rounds of aggressive chemotherapy, a lung resection, experimental medical treatments, and so many days and nights inside of hospitals. Through it all she has remained so brave, and through it all we watched her endure and grow into a beautiful and resilient little girl with the sweetest smile and a laughter that melts your heart.

Now, after three years of continuous medical treatments, the cancer has proven to be too much for our little friend. In January of 2018, we learned that there won't be a cure for Lola despite her strength and profound will to live.

When Mama asked Little Lola-bug what she wanted to do for her 5th birthday, Lola said, "I want to go to DisneyWorld, again!"  Mama told her that soon we can go, but what did she want to do with her friends.  Lola requested an ice cream party.  Celebrations were in the works, but then Lola got really sick.  Her cancer (Chordoma) was spreading and Lola was not able to eat or drink on her own and she wasn't able to speak well.  Mama and Dada were told by Lola's doctors that treatment was limited and the best option they could offer was to keep Lola hydrated and comfortable and bring her home.  Lola had a feeding tube put in in order to keep her pain-free and she was brought back home.

Lola perked up one day, for a brief moment, and gathered the strength to ask her Mama and Dada a question.  Lola asked, "Can I go to DisneyWorld and ride the teacup ride?"

Mama and Dada decided that it was time to bring Lola to DisneyWorld as her birthday wish.  Lola's 5th birthday is March 22, but that seemed too far away to wait, so Mama and Dada thought the best thing to do was go right away.

Our goal with this Go Fund Me page is to send Lola back to Disney World. Ever since Lola was born, her face has always lit up with smiles and laughter at the sight of Minnie Mouse or any of the Disney princesses. One of the happiest times in her life was traveling to Disney World with her family in the summer of 2016 through the generosity of the Make a Wish Foundation. While in the arms of Princess Elsa or holding hands with Minnie Mouse, Lola's smile and joy made everyone forget the pain she was actully suffering. We would love for our little friend to live like a princess of her own. All donations made to this page will go directly into a fund to help Lola and her family enjoy a well deserved birthday return to Disney World. We sincerely thank you for reading Lola's story and for your generosity. It's people like you who make a difference in this world, and make sure children like Lola are able to still be kids despite cancer. Thank you for your kindness.  We apprieciate any and all support, as well as prayers and good vibes.
