Help Gretchen to See her Lola!!!

As many of you might already know, Gretchen’s 97 year old Lola Matias’ health has rapidly deteriorated. Until recently, she was known to be very healthy for her age—being able to walk and garden with the best of them. Now, she is barely able to eat 2 spoonsful of rice. This woman who helped to raise Gretchen and her siblings from a young age means the world to them.

Unfortunately, having moved back to the Philippines in her old age, her grandma has not seen Gretchen in a long while. It’s one of her last wishes to have Gretchen and her siblings by her side.

Time is of the essence.  A priest has already visited her Grandma's bedside. So there is no telling how much time she has left. Gretchen is hoping to catch a flight to Manila as soon as Monday, August 21st. Hopefully we can present her with this money as soon as Friday Morning, August 18!

If Gretchen has touched your life in any way, please kindly consider helping her and her family in their time of need. We know how much it would mean to her that her family and friends have rallied around her. Especially with the financial and emotional struggles they had to endure with the loss of their mom just last year.

We all know that she is always the first person to give the shirt off her back when she’s needed. But we also know that Gretchen will always be the last person to ask for help for herself. I, Harvey Hermosura (her cousin) and Jean Garcia (her friend) will guarantee that she receives 100% of the money. Along with 2 plane tickets, they also need to renew and expedite their expired passports. The sooner we reach this goal the less worry will be put on them. We would like to present her all donations no later than this Friday.
