Help Lola Put Her Best Foot Forward

Lola, our 7 month old puppy, was born with severe hip dysplasia in both hips. She experiences pain and soreness after exercise, and without surgical intervention, she will quickly develop arthritis in her hip and her pain will escalate (she already has early signs of arthritis). There are two options for her, total hip replacements or femeral head osteomy (FHO). Hip replacements are more expensive, but give her a significantly better chance at an active, pain free live as compared to FHO. We would love to be able to get total hip replacements on both hips, but at $8,500 per hip, the price is unfortunately a gigantic factor for her fate. Pet insurance does not cover surgeries of this nature because it is considered a pre-existing condition. Any help to let Lola put her best foot forward (pun intended) is truly appreciated.
