Get Lola back on her three feet!
CAMPAIGN CLOSED - HAPPY ENDING! Lola has been adopted [see final update] and has healed well.
----------------------------------------------
We found Lola, a sweet 8-month-old German shepherd, after she'd been hit by a car in Dallas. She had two broken legs and a broken pelvis.
She had surgery on both legs, but later developed a MRSA infection that forced amputation of her front leg. She is adjusting to life as a tripod, and we hope to have her avaiable for adoption soon.
We are getting advice and support from two rescue groups ( Good Shepherd Rescue & Sanctuary of Texas and North Texas Cat Rescue - we work with NTCR, and Lola has been declared an honorary cat.) Friends have stepped up as fosters.
All donations will go directly to her care. Any remaining funds will go to the rescue groups.
