LOLA dog's TPLO surgery

LOLA came into Bridges' life as a puppy shipped from a cattle ranch in Texas. Soon she was the Mascot of GAB. LOLA brought the GAB art gallery through 10 years in Wynwood. LOLA spent her mornings running in Peacock Park in Coconut Grove later in the day following Bridges weaving through Wynwood's art community.
LOLA's journey took her to NYC and Central Park. Early this year, she moved with her family to Bar Harbor, Maine, new terrain to discover and maneuver. Maine's rocky shoreline LOLA is not as agile, chasing her water-loving brother Oskar the Lagotto Romagnolo and how LOLA tore her ACL completely.
Watching LOLA limping and when touched on her leg, whimpering is heartbreaking. For the last month, LOLA is housebound. Following numerous visits to the Vet and a virtual consultation with Dr. Sanchez at Silver Bluff Coconut Grove.
Mandatory TPLO surgery is needed to re-establish stability, prevent further cartilage and bone deterioration, followed by two months rest.
Thankfully Oskar is in Oregon at Amico Farm with his girlfriends and will not distract LOLA's healing and rehabilitation process.
LOLA loves you and will be back in 2021 to visit with you and maybe knock you down with her two front paw lunge.

TPLO surgery would be $5400, with a follow-up X-ray visit eight weeks later, that would be roughly $500. MVMC will start with a consult in the morning, which is $170, then we will make a plan more specific for your pet and can do surgery the same day.
Our hope is to raise a portion of TPLO surgery cost.
