Logan's Medical Fund

Dear Family & Friends,

I have created this page for my dear friend, Kathy. As many of you know, Logan, their 3 yr old son, has been suffering from various chronic infections since birth. On average, Logan is sick 10-15 days a month. Joe and Kathy have been working tirelessly on helping alleviate his symptoms and diagnose the issues. They are finally seeing some light at the end of this long, dark tunnel of seeing their son suffering.

Logan was recently diagnosed with Babesia – a parasite from the saliva of a tick bite (related to malaria), which has, unfortunately, further compromised his immune system. Logan’s body is constantly trying to repair itself and as a result, his immune system is wearing down and has been recently flagged as severely below normal. He also continues to suffer from the effects of the concussion he experienced at 15 months of age and needs to see a pediatric chiropractor to realign and correct his ear/nose/throat for optimal fluid drainage.

It has also been discovered that Logan's nervous sytem has been attacking itself, causing his cells to over-myelinate or become stiff and rigid. This is causing a host of other issues ranging from severe eczema, digestive trouble, and continued illnesses.

Lastly, Logan has to undergo more blood work and testing as it was also determined that he has severe inflammation in his body due to a chronic bacterial or viral infection that has yet to be identified.

All in all, the list above is overwhelming and they have their work cut out for them in the months ahead as they continue to conduct more testing, explore these issues and possible treatments. It is with a heavy heart that Joe and Kathy have allowed me to share these trials and tribulations of Logan’s health with you all and it is with even greater humility that we ask for your love and support – both emotionally and financially.

They don't know what the total cost of Logan’s testing and treatments will be and any help you can consider providing them would be deeply appreciated. Many of you have already expressed a desire in helping and contributing and a donation will have a direct impact on their situation by funding medical tests, treatments and medications and herbs not covered by insurance.

Please keep Logan and the Zagorski family in your thoughts and prayers as they embark on this journey towards further diagnosis and recovery.
