Hello everyone, this update is being posted by Jordan, Logan's father.

After Logan's 7th round of chemo, he was given a small 2 month break. It was an option his Dr said was reasonable at the time, given the minimal disease he had left was stable throughout his treatments. He had 2 brain surgeries after: one in March, one at the end of June. Both of these were for spinal fluid entrapment. He had a shunt/valve placed in June as an emergency surgery for the increasing fluid.

We are very sad to say that the little residual disease has spread rapidly throughout his brain and spine. We had been given the news a few weeks back that he may not have a lot of time left with us. Our options are minimal to none given the type of cancer and spread it has taken: one being to enjoy all the time we have with him and make him as comfortable and happy as we can.

We are all devastated and heartbroken.

He is currently enrolled in Hospice. They do only visit lightly thus far, as he does have his spirits and beautiful smiles still despite them being fewer now-a-days and taking many medicines to help him through. He is still and always will be a wonderful, amazing, handsome little man to us and to everyone. We love him so dearly.

Please pray for him and our family through this heartbreaking time. We thank you all for the past support, prayers, thoughts, thank you all so very much. We thank you for all the kindness we have received. Give a hug to all your children, they deserve it.

Original post:
Have you ever woken up one day and your world was flipped upside down ? That is how things happened for Logans family the morning of August 29. Logan went to bed a happy little baby and had a seizure in the middle of the night. He was rushed to the hospital where the doctors discovered a tumor inside his brain. What was to come the next two weeks for Logan and his parents was extremely overwhelming. Logan had to have surgery to remove the tumor from his brain. Every parents worse nightmare came alive with the results: little Logan was diagnosed with cancer. He will need to have chemo treatments to rid any remaining cancer. His parents will need to be with him and off of work. Little Logan will be celebrating his first birthday on September 18. No child should have to endure this sort of pain.

They would never ask for help, so I am asking you to help this family if you are able. My heart breaks for Logan’s parents and family as they are going through this nightmare. If you are unable to help, I’m asking that you please include Logan and his family in your prayers as they begin this journey to being cancer free.  #teamlogan
