Logan "Kneeds" a bike and surgery

My son, Logan Johnson, and his wife, Tessa,  both graduated from college and sacrificed much to moved to Texas at the end of August for Tessa to begin graduate school and for Logan to pursue a local police officer job opportunity. Logan had just begun teaching martial arts part-time upon arriving in College Station, TX and injured his knee.

He has been diagnosed with a tear to the patellar tendon, and a strain to another tendon and is awaiting scheduling for recommended treatment.  He has been unable to work since the injury 2 weeks ago, and will need to rehabilitate as soon as possible to be able to be independent and employed. He needs access several times a day(at home) to an exercise bike, and help with medical expenses.

As you can imagine, they've been students without much income for years, and this is another big set back to earning.  My aim is to help him help himself take care of his knee and rehab it quickly, hoping to still maintain his employment opportunity at the police department.  He is a gentle giant and has come to the aid of others and doesn't ask for anything in return. This is one way we can join together and be the ones to help him right away with the bike and bills. Once we know more, if the treatment is more involved than expected, I will update the fundraising goal.
