Local FF Paramedic
Donation protected
Daniel Harmon, a local FireFighter/Paramedic serving Sevier County suffered a severe medical condition that has his future undetermined. Daniel began helping others well before his 18th birthday, hanging around the local fire department and eventually learning the required training to become a volunteer fireman. Many would think that this was enough but Daniel wanted more. He enrolled in the local school to obtain his EMT license. Again this wasn't enough...Daniel continued his education over the next few years and eventually earned the license of EMT-P for the State of TN. While answering the call of the communities he served, Daniel managed to continue his educational career earning a Bachelors degree in Fire Administration and earning all the way to Fire Officer IV with the State of TN Fire Commission. Daniel finally married the love of his life Cassie and between the two have 7 wonderful children. In the early morning of 12/15/20, Daniel suffered a massive Brain Stem bleed while serving his community. Daniel was rushed to the local trauma center where he is currently in ICU, unconscious, and fluid still building up in his brain. Doctors are hopeful that he will survive, but are unsure of the damage that has already been done. Daniel has never looked back taking care of others in their need. Now that the tables have turned its time we pay him back and help him in his time of need. Please help this lovely family!!!! All donations are appreciated and will go to help support his medical bills, family, and children as they struggle through the months ahead in this healing process.
