Friend battling Meningitis

This comes with a heavy and humbled heart to share the news that our dear friend Ben has been battling viral meningitis for the last month. He has been in and out of the hospital while undergoing multiple Medical scans and spinal taps searching for a diagnosis. After being misdiagnosed he finally found a medical team that properly identified what's going on and is finally undergoing the right treatments. He's been out of work for a long time now due to the results of the meningitis causing severe vertigo like symptoms and now requiring him to be in an isolation ward with a long treatment and recovery ahead of him. As all of you can imagine, this has severely impacted his income and left him with a mountain of medical bills and out of pocket costs that keep growing.

For those who don't know Ben Etheridge, he's the owner of a local distillery whose main focus has been to not just produce product but to give back to his community and first responders and military. He halted production on making liquor during the COVID-19 pandemic to manufacture hand sanitizer when we were facing shortages of it. He provided jobs to out of work service industry workers during its production and donated thousands of gallons of sanitizer to first responders out on the front lines fighting the virus. From day one of starting his company he's donated a portion of his sales to veterans who can't afford to cover medical bills themselves.

He's one of the most generous people we've had the honor to know and is the type who will give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. It's our turn to give back to him and pull together as a community to take care of one of our own.

We would like to ask for donations towards his medical bills to help ease the struggle a bit while he recovers and gets back on his feet. Anything and everything will help.
