Local Beirut family lost home from explosion

The family this fundraiser was created for would like to stay anonymous.
On August 4th, 2020 at 6:07pm (local time) a massive explosion struck Beirut, Lebanon destroying more than half of the capital. The blow was so forceful, it blasted through windows up to 15 miles away.
One of the homes destroyed was of a local Lebanese family with the parents and one of the children in the house. Most of the family members had minor injuries, but one family member suffered severe injuries and must undergo two surgeries. The building of the house is still standing, however the inside looks like a tornado went through it. Walls have been torn down, the ceiling has caved in, furniture has been thrown across the room, and glass covers the floor. While the family is currently in a safer location, the scars of the event, checking in to a chaotic hospital, and the financial burden of a destroyed home and city will leave a wound on this family forever.
Even before this tragic event, this family was suffering from Lebanon's economic crisis.
So given all this, we put together this fundraiser to raise money for this family to rebuild their home and be able to support and feed themselves during this extremely difficult time.
This family is one of the kindest, hard working, and loving group of people I know. This family is a true example of unconditional love between one another. They have stayed strong together during low times. This family deserves the chance to get back on their feet.
