Local Ambulance Service Destroyed

Delta EMS  Ambulance Service loves the Delta. We love our neighbors. We love the "never back down from a challenge" spirit that pulses through the veins of this area. That's why we serve here. While we were doing just that on our way to Monette to assist our brothers and sisters Friday night, mother nature brought another round of destructive storms through our home base in Trumann, Arkansas, which dealt complete devastation to the building we lease for our office.

 

Recently, we bought a building to expand Delta EMS; however, due to financial constraints, we have not transitioned to that space yet. There is much work to be done that we have been handling, in large part, ourselves. Unfortunately, the loss of our corporate office and the equipment therein means we don't have the luxury of taking our time to relocate now, and as a non-profit organization, funds are limited to assist us in this time of need.

 

Our ambulance service is still running. We are still helping people because that's what we do. Our first responders are an integral part of the community. Even while we are experiencing personal wreckage of our own, we are still out in our neighborhood volunteering, cleaning, feeding, and serving others where we can. But, we need help too. Funds to move to our new building, and replace some much needed equipment, are now crucial, and we sincerely need others to partner with us to make this transition happen quickly.

 

We know there were many impacted by the recent catastrophic events, and we want you to give where you feel led, as so many are hurting. We're so grateful for all those who have stepped up in this time of need, especially with it being the holiday season. OUR MISSION: Delta EMS is a volunteer service building relationships, working with community involvement, and providing emergency medical care and non emergency transportation to the local citizens of the Delta.
