Alec's Blue Devil Drum & Bugle Corp

I am so proud of my son Alec.  So responsible!  I don't know how he manages a 4.0+ G.P.A.  while taking physics, calculus & AP history.  In addition he's been in the advanced Jazz & marching band.  He has taken it upon himself to raise money for his latest venture. Below is Alec's fundraising letter.  Please help in any way you can.

Playing the trumpet has been a passion of mine since the 5th grade, and I am happy to say that I have been selected to be a part of the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corp for the 2015 season.  

The Blue Devils are a professional marching band and will compete all across the nation.  I am one of the youngest members of the band.  Most are 21 years of age but that doesn't scare me because this is an opportunity of a lifetime and I am up for the challange.  

Due to the fact that most of my competitions will take place on the East coast, I am in need of funds for airfare and housing.  Your contributions can make this journey possible for me.  I plan on playing the trumpet in college and the Blue Devils experience would greatly help my chances of being admitted into a U.C.
