LMNOPuppets' mission is to utilize the art of puppetry to create immersive and engaging educational experiences benefiting children and their families throughout the Front Range of Colorado. But we need your help.
High-quality puppets, props, sets, music, and all the other things that make a show magical and memorable come at a cost. So do websites, marketing material, and paying the performers and creators who make it all come to life. We're asking for $7000 in start-up funds to cover those expenses plus have a little reserve to get us by until our first shows.
Our first two shows, a geography/ELA themed elementary show where students get to become detectives tracking a thief around the world ala Carmen Sandiego, and a show where preschool astonauts travel to an uncharted planet and have to teach alien preschoolers how to behave like earth preschoolers, are in their final edits and are nearing the point of casting and rehearsals. In order to keep that process moving along and have the shows ready to tour midway through September, we're asking for funds to be donated by Friday, August 11th.
Your support will mean so much to the children of the Front Range. You'll be helping to create assemblies that cement educational concepts for them as real world tasks, increasing their retention and their desire to learn more. You'll also be helping us ensure that we can offer our shows at schools that might not otherwise be able to afford this type of programming.
