Lloyd Munroe, Mental Health Awareness

Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this go fund me page about my brother Lloyd Munroe. I’ve set this up with the approval  of our Mother. We have received a lot of love and kind messages about Lloyd and many people have asked to send flowers to his service. The reason we have set up this go fund me page is because my mum would love it if, instead of sending flowers, people would kindly donate towards this page which will go towards "Mind", a mental health charity, the more we raise for this amazing cause the better. I would also like to add that if we exceed our goal we would like to use some of the funds to help towards Lloyd's service. Yours kindly Myles Munroe.

Lloyd was such a beautiful, loving and gentle soul who loved his family, friends and people around him. He had such a good heart with a warming and caring nature, Lloyd just wanted to make people happy by busking on the streets of Nottingham. He didn’t have a bad bone in him, if he could help anyone he would. Lloyd was very friendly he never judged anyone, and always projected “more love”. Sadly Lloyd suffered with severe anxiety for many years of his life, he battled mostly in silence. Lloyd was in and out of hospital so many times, we tried to help and support him. Due to lack of help, and COVID, we feel he slipped through the net, suffering in silence. Lloyd had so much to give, he had a great talent that will be missed and has sadly left behind two beautiful daughters. Sadly this has all happened due to Lloyd's illness, therefore I would love to be able to help others in similar positions. We would love to bring more awareness to Mental health as it seems to be something which is not talked about enough in our society. We would love to raise money in Lloyd's memory towards a charity that means so much to me, "Mind". Please be willing to help, however small your donation may be, it will definitely make a difference and hopefully help others. I know that this is what Lloyd would have wanted and it would also make me feel at peace knowing that everyone he knew has help contribute to such a good cause. I would finally like to thank everyone who has sent heart warming messages, it means so much to my family and myself. He will be truly missed and my heart is broken forever. Mum. x x
