Lloyd Combs Community Support Fund

Lloyd is currently undergoing physical therapy for a debilitating stroke and is a temporary resident of Heritage Hall in Buchanan County.  In a short period of time, Lloyd will be leaving the nursing facility and will need to make new living arrangements. 

During his stay in the nursing facility, the property that Lloyd has lived it for the past 14 years was put up for sale and he will eventually need to leave and relocate. In addition to this setback, Lloyd has seen his income diminish due to the lack of opportunities to cover and broadcast sports. This shortfall is the result of our current COVID-19 pandemic, which has halted sporting events across the region and nation. 

The funds generated from this fundraiser will be utilized to assist Lloyd as he secures a new place of residence, to assist with bills and to help with hiring a caregiver to assist in his daily living. 

We are asking all donors to consider the urgency of his circumstances and assist with a generous donation. If you are unable to assist with a personal donation, please consider other ways that you might assist Lloyd as he continues back on the road to recovery.
